it’s an established French artist who started the NFT project and all pieces were authenticated by a renowned French expert.
There’s always a risk I know, but it looks very serious.
it’s interesting that this kind of project remain quite unknown in the « real art world » (meaning outside of the crypto community)

Tokenising your own work, like JR or Damien Hirst is one thing, but tokenising OTHER PEOPLE’S WORK is a massive red flag. Seriously, don’t waste your money! |

I recognise the name from the massive number of Dismaland "free art" pieces that they also sell, e.g. uk.drouot.com/l/18881148-banksy-ne-en-1974-dapresbanksy. Those are without doubt not legitimate; Pest Control explicitly state that on their website. Make of that what you will. I would also say that the images of the box sets on the banksy-nft.xyz website you shared do not look right to me; they seem far too narrow, and just don't look that good. I could be wrong, of course, but given that these are being "authenticated" by someone with connections to an auction house that sells fake Dismaland art, I would not touch them with a 10ft barge pole, and I would STRONGLY recommend that you don't either! |

I finally entered the project (btw probably should have wait a bit as the price now dropped by 30%)
The expert is indeed from Drouot, which is reassuring. I couldn’t click the links you sent but it seems that the « fake banksy » are more Banksy-inspired works, right? A bit like mr brainwash is reusing everyone else’s work 😜 I really hate that but it’s not what I would call a fake one.
also, Pest Control does not authenticate Walled Off pieces.
Some buyers already received their box and posted them on Twitter. It’s probably a good way to see if these are originals. For who has the eye and experience to do so…
