2 weeks ago. Been at the hotel 2 nights, first night there were the old receipts, second night the new ones, either way with Box Sets as well as Walls.
Reason for that is that you have to sign up your E-Mail address and name and room # for every purchase. Before (OLD receipts) they just used one long list for all guests together, now (NEW receipts) each purchase has 2 receipts, one for you (the NEW receipt) and one for them incl. your Name and E-Mail and Room #. Plus now they really make sure that they can read your Name & E-Mail address, before, the long list was just a bunch of scribbling (as far as I have seen it).

Not sure exactly when they changed over, but it was between the 15th-25th Sep.

not sure (because i did not check it by myself in bethlehem) but there are new receipts - two pieces. On the top piece you have to put your name, adress etc. (they are keeping this piece) - the other piece is stamped with a red "walled of hotel".

The weather is cold , nice and sunny though.
Jerusalem old city is a must for any visitors , 234 or 231 bus from checkpoint 300 ,5 min walk from the hotel.

Off topic anyone noticed the donkey chained all day below the hotel ? Not good🙁1meter width , 6 meter long pathway but on a chain so can’t move , mentioned to staff but laughed ? 🙄understand some locals need donkeys for carts but hotel generating a lot of cash?

Plus you can feel and see it, I think it is a bit heavier and more stable.

It's not people realising what they really are. It's basic economics at work; supply is now meeting demand and hence the price is decreasing.
If only one of these was ever produced, supply would be much less than demand and price would be huge, regardless of whether Banksy touched them or not.

Whether someone pays 600 or 1200 it wont matter much in 10 years if you like it and enjoy it. and in ten years its got a solid chance of being worth 200 or 2000 who knows. look at the current price of the Banksy CD covers. its all crazy money now.

Ask some people from the WOH, before the Box Set came out the hotel wasn't that booked like it is these days.
Plus £150 for a digital print with a chunk of concrete in a cheap frame is not so bad, especially when they sell round about 15-20 Box Sets per day.
