you will see, this print - perfect printing - resumes what street-art should be and not Geishas, weak Disney parodies, just funny drawings characters or chicken, etc.. this is real ! This is a pic of a pic of a soldier with a « bloody joker smile « .. a survivor or not.
It is funny. Without to seem contemptuous nor pretentiousness - I was « innocent » then even naive ( as I bought fake street road signs supposed by Banksy and a tenner at 540 quids! ( lol the ebayer selling that was a f**kingwanker as he needed the help of mates to increase the bids ) in 2011, as I had just seen Exit, the movie that made me know streetart and remembering punk or outlaws minds. Vandals, rebels in fact. Graffitis already ! More combattive !
So what is funny is that the first ever print then - I did not know who Paul Insect was, the Banksy’s mate and a kind of Van Gogh of the streetart - , that I bought was his target that nobody wanted - and still not wants -
And his two books.
Why this Paul Ibsectvand his target ?! Because this is the most powerful print hat I have seen ! Composition is great mixing of awesome colors, and a lot of media ( paint, drips, stencil, etc .., ) , but almost all it makes me remember Brazil, the first movie about street art, Anarchy, the fight against totalitarianism and hated armies with no face but weapons, because it’s a run , at any time, against ( and more now than never with a Trump etc ) power, dirty army legions, etc ..
It is the target first and last artwork about all these order and police authorities, it is the fight , our fight , my mind .
Never mind if in the hyped dining rooms some convives are annoyed by this alien warrior ! Let us beat him !!
