There are prints on that site that sat and sat and sat but because of the hype, they became desirable. Just like that. not really.... if they are closing, it puts a very real deadline on purchasing prints and their availability in the future. i really liked the todd james. glad others bought it so i don't have the itchy impulse purchase. either way, glad i was able to pick up a print or 2 that had been on my radar for a long time.
Fair point, but is that not what hype is about? The very real fear of missing out on something you want?

Good to see some new old things popping up. I noticed a Hewlett “Russel” this morning that wasn’t there before. It would be funny if POW dropped some sought after prints randomly throughout the site - a great way to get people looking at what else is available and maybe even finding something they like other than a Banksy.

Think the petrol bomb posters were advertised as limited. Was it 4000 but only 2000 sold? Long time ago so I could be wrong.

I doubt these are newly printed... more likely they've just been stored in a box for a rainy day.
Numbers are probably just order numbers... although interesting that the Museum posters don't get numbers! We'll see.
