Not sure that proves your point but I also have no seen any SEv.2 prints with an edition number under 100. So you may be right that they continued the signed edition with v.2 and only 500 total examples of signed Sale Ends prints exist between the first and second versions. That would seem to make some sense since most signed editions are not that large (other than color Trolleys canโt think of another that is) and since there were issues with the full edition release of version 1 in 2006/7.
By the way, I am still looking to trade one of my three SEv.2 prints for another signed print (or original). I can add cash for the right work and do a deal either in the US or UK.
Top prints I would consider: Have a Nice Day, Stop & Search, Choose Your Weapon, Morons, Flying Chopper, Smiling Copper.

The only other possibility is that over 100 prints were held back for their archives
