Indeed. And (unlike previous orders) really well packed.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by crashwilliams on Dec 4, 2017 15:54:04 GMT 1, Here's mine (mind the shoes in the shot). It's cool to see the other framing choices being posted. I was 50/50 on going for the ornate frame (which looks great btw) — but very happy with the black. Photo doesn't do it justice — really pops.
Great framing and hope you dont mind my doing something similar

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Deleted on Dec 5, 2017 7:58:38 GMT 1, When I received mine the new character did seem strange a first as it felt more like a reworked new print rather than an old one. I then remembered the Rule of Thirds in photography. Now it makes a bit more sense and to me it feels like its been composed a bit better than the original so can understand the change. More art like than graffiti if that makes sense. The thing that I find strange the most is that the final POW release before they close was 'Sale Ends', which they just happened to have on the shelf. The rule of thirds is meant to draw your eyes in to the subject matter of the photo, like in the example you provided above. In the Sale Ends Today image, the subject is the Sale Ends sign, not the man standing. Instead that figure competes with the subject and that is a major reason I find it so distracting. For the record, I own the original unsigned version, so maybe I am just too used to seeing it the previous way. Sale Ends on Ebay, £18,600 with 13hrs to go, seems to be a rising market.

Great framing and hope you dont mind my doing something similar Ha ha of course. If you do, the framer used vermillion coloured side spacers which is spot on match with the image. Also went for museum glass which seems to cost more than gold, but was recommended here so bit the bullet. When you get it next to 'regular' glass it's amazingly clear, so much so I thought about reframing everything I have!

Cheers mate, appreciate the additional info. Im going to go similar, particularly with the glass, mine uses a clarity/uv so will find out about the diffrences - i can see several of mine being redone! Quality piece, you must be chuffed to bits

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by FЯ on Dec 6, 2017 8:39:50 GMT 1, The frame simplicity keeps the print subject the focal point. I do kinda like the versions on black but only when its all black, i find things like red spacers etc distracting.

Depends on the colour of your walls too.... white walls, white frame, white print ...? TBH, the black one with the red spacers is the way to go

So what you are saying is, your house is decorated like a brothel?
The framing should never be more elaborate than the artwork in it

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by Rouen Cathedral on Dec 6, 2017 14:47:25 GMT 1, I usually go for all white frames and mounts. But do have a couple of frames where I've used black frame, and white mount. I think the all white allows the print to show its colours off. I got some with the black frames because I'm having downstairs decorated in all white so thought it'd be good to let some frames give contrast to the walls. But this piece I will go for an ornate black frame I reckon. Each to their own though, no matter what framing you go for it's you that has to look at it time and time again so go for whatever you like!
I agree with the ornate black frame. My first thought when seeing this piece.
Someone had a blek tango in an ornate black frame in here a while ago and it was incredible.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by therivler1 on Dec 6, 2017 18:45:24 GMT 1, I don't think the white framing looks good
Not just saying that to be snarky, as i have a lot of prints framed white. I just think there is a lot of white space already in the print.

I just think there is a lot of white space already in the print. My general principle is if the image has white edges or is mainly white then it’s a black or wood colour frame. Conversely if it’s a dark image then it’s a white frame. The frame for me should tastefully support the image.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by FЯ on Dec 6, 2017 23:10:41 GMT 1, I agree with the ornate black frame. My first thought when seeing this piece. Someone had a blek tango in an ornate black frame in here a while ago and it was incredible. It's what I thought of as soon as I saw the print, but a nice black one, not gold or anything cheesy. I'm tempted to see if I can put back lighting behind some of my frames, but I think it'll just look too much. I have to remember my lounge isn't a gallery and I do have a 2 yr old daughter climbing up sofas and throwing stuff around hahaha Bit of a contradiction there.
not gold or anything cheesy > considering back lighting frames.
