Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by oxfordwelshchap on Jul 23, 2018 8:55:32 GMT 1, 1,000,000 by next year most likely? One, two, three and hype this up... I think my account must have been hacked i would have said £30k ;-) I don't own one, so not really in my interest to hype but i would have thought in the same price as trolleys, grannies etc, where do You think it will be say next March? We could have a sweep stake No idea mate. I think it will continue on the same pathway as other banksy prints. I have noted that street art seems to have lost some of its popularity. Faile and d face seem to take longer to sell and go for less. I am not sure if this will touch banksy prints however, i guess time will tell. In the meantime, those that own will continue the usual 'great price' 'this is worth at least x' 'better snap this up quick before next year' but I suppose like someone said earlier it would be crazy not to for a £15000 profit...

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by shy on Jul 23, 2018 10:20:23 GMT 1, i agree with Bren. And congrats to those lucky people that won.
It's a nice print, but not epic....still, I'm sure the print will continue to rise.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by irl1 on Jul 23, 2018 11:36:45 GMT 1, I agree with Bren too.....bastards Lucky one's at that. I say good luck to whoever won. Everyone that was in the lottery had a chance to win. There are winners and losers. Happy winners, happy losers, then there are the unhappy losers who feel its their right to bash the winners. (I'm not saying your doing this)
Lets be honest here, we all would love to win one. Some of these winners might never see 15,000 grand in their life, and it can do a lot for them. You really have to see it from their point of view. Do i hang my Banksy print in my rented flat, or do i sell and put towards a house for the family. Do i frame my print and keep driving my ten year old car, or whatever....
Again i hope some of these prints will change the lives of some families

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by chaturz on Jul 23, 2018 14:12:18 GMT 1, Ok so here goes:
I put up a post on the forum a week and a half ago when I was in the uk saying I wanted to buy one and had 5 days to conclude the deal before flying back home.
I paid more than what the OP is asking and bought from a well known gallery, who will also handle the COA stuff in Jan.
I would say to the original poster there are those out there willing to pay more than you are asking so either hold out or sell to a gallery showing your paperwork etc they will easily sell even now for more than you’re asking.
I think this print is great value if bought under $20k I have no doubt it’s value will rise. No I’ve never won a Banksy lottery, this is my first signed Banksy, this is the most I’ve ever paid for a print, infact it’s close to 2.5 times more than I’ve ever paid for a car! Do I regret my decision to buy....nope!
There are galleries that have sold several of these and are managing the COAs and several art dealer / resellers who have had a few through their hands already. This print is already being traded regardless of COA so I would say the price will only go up after Jan 2019.
To anyone buying, do your due diligence because I do agree without COA it’s a risky business depending on how you source this.
Regards

The idea of me posting if for sale on here was to give someone the opportunity to buy at a price lower than dealers/galleries would charge. I accept that come January (or whenever PC issue the COA’s) the price may go up, but it could also go down if the market is flooded.
I’m surprised galleries are buying them without the COA to be honest as all of the ones I know that deal in Banksys won’t touch them without one?
Also agree about due diligence it’s risky for both buyer and seller so be careful folks

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by irl1 on Jul 23, 2018 14:41:04 GMT 1, Congratulations on your purchase chaturz.
Have they given you any promises on the COA. Anything in writing. Did they say what they will do for you if they can't get the COA, or is the original owner applying for it first. Seems a lot of cash to hand over unless you have something in writing.

Coa is issued and shipped to original owner only. In case the new owner would like to transfer the coa in his name he will have to apply to Pest. And we all know that process is not immediate as the pile is mountainous.
Where and when did they apparently say this? I will have to check my emails

Might be because I won’t travel 200/300 miles to do the deal and the COA thing I imagine is an issue for many (understandably I guess)

Sales End by Banksy is a 2-colour screenprint, signed and numbered, from an edition of 500. Mint. I was lucky enough to win it in the ballot.
Any question, please let me know

You'll get lots of comments about the COA. This is not available until January 2019.
Paperwork is the key, the COA I think will be in your name and the buyer will have to trust that the print is .....
Genuine. This means you should have the email trail from Pictures on walls, proof of address, name etc. The POW tube that the print came in, the POW wrapping for the print.
You'll need to be able to convince the buyer that you will help them transfer ownership through 'pest control' when you apply and then receive the COA. At this stage no one knows how long it will take from applying for the COA in Jan and actually receiving it. At the moment its taking between 2 weeks and 12 months from application
If you can hold on until you get the COA you'll sell it a lot easier than You will now
At the moment the banksy print market is a little slow and there appears to be more supply than demand.
Good luck with the sale
edit
( I may have missed stuff, i usually do, someone else will fill in the gaps I am sure)
Hi Guys, I'm ready to sell this. Was hoping to hold on to it but sadly I need the cash... serious about selling this, new to the site, I need 19k, will hand deliver. Sales End by Banksy is a 2-colour screenprint, signed and numbered, from an edition of 500. Mint. I was lucky enough to win it in the ballot. Any question, please let me know Scott You'll get lots of comments about the COA. At the moment its taking between 2 weeks and 12 months from application If you can hold on until you get the COA you'll sell it a lot easier than You will now At the moment the banksy print market is a little slow and there appears to be more supply than demand. Good luck with the sale edit ( I may have missed stuff, i usually do, someone else will fill in the gaps I am sure)
