Nice. I’m still waiting to even hear from them and you and I applied around the same time. I’m sure our reference numbers aren’t far off from one another.
Anyone else?!

At least you’ve heard back. When did you apply?
I’ve only heard of one secondary owner hearing back from PC who applied on their own and not through a gallery. Even then we applied around the same time and he already had a COA in hand.
At this point I’m wondering if it’s best to continue waiting or have the original owner apply. I just have to keep reminding myself that PC probably isn’t a huge office space with hundreds of workers who only deal with the exchange of this one print.

Plenty posts on here regarding it, patience is the key.

U are in a good position, it’s not like there is uncertainty over the print, time is the only variable here 😊

This is true. Part of my problem was the uncertainty of whether they would issue a COA to a secondary owner who was the first to apply for the print. Art has received his and we applied around the same time so there’s no question that they issue to secondary owners. I just figured PC authorized in a orderly fashion based on reference number. I honestly have no experience with this as this is my first Banksy.
But you’re right. It also helps that I’ve known the person I bought the print for a while.
The wait can be the hardest part.

You may want to contact the original owner to see if PC have been in touch with them.
I've sold Banksy prints in the past and found that years later I get an email from PC asking if I had sold the print and the name of the person I had sold it to.
If the original owner has had one of those emails, and failed to respond, that will slow things down.

Thank you for the solid advice. I have reached out to them over the phone and in person and they haven’t heard anything unfortunately. I also check my spam file every few days.

Thanks for the input man. I’m behind you a little in numbers. If I was you I’d probably scrub my reference number to only include the first three numbers but that’s just me. Thanks again.

Banksy • Sale Ends Today, by shrimpandgrits on May 9, 2019 21:02:27 GMT 1, 2/2/2019 - Applied for my COA for Sale Ends Today v2 on this date (I was busy and didn't get around to it)
5/1/2019 - Received an email response on this date from Pest Control Office. They emailed the original owner, CC'd me and asked for confirmation that the piece had switched hands.
5/7/2019 - Pest Control confirmed my piece is eligible for COA and I paid the $80 (US). They said I should expect it in around 21 days after PayPal'ing the money. Everything is on the up and up other than the fact Pest Control kept referring to themselves as a Nigerian Prince, which now I think was kinda odd.
Once I get the COA in hand, I was planning on applying for Hang Up Pictures Banksy Insurance Valuation (https://hanguppictures.com/banksy/insurance-valuations). Anyone done this? Why not if you haven't?

It would be for the insurance company not me. Different insurers require different documentation.
