Banksy • Soup Cans Poster, by Deleted on Oct 25, 2017 23:48:58 GMT 1, Thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to enter the competition. I know it was not an easy task. Below are all the correct answers to the competition:
1. At Santa's Ghetto in 2003 who presented The Burner Prize winners award? A: Goldie
2. How much did Banksy pay Bristol Council to hire the Bristol Museum? A: £0
3. At the start of the millennium Banksy decorated a coffin, for who? A: Lez Hutchinson
4. Who has Banksy said his two favourite artists are? A: Gary Larson & Harry Houdini
5. What country did Banksy create these street pieces in? A: Cuba
6. What’s Banksy's favourite film? A: Life is Beautiful
7. What was the name of the painted elephant in Banksy's 2006 Barely Legal show in LA? A: Tai
8. Which graffiti writer was this piece a tribute to? A: Ozone
9. What is the name of this Banksy artwork? A: Playmate of the month
10. Who created the model of Jerusalem that was part of Banksy's Bristol Museum show? A: Tawfiq Salsa
Unfortunately, nobody answered all of the questions correctly.
So, I’ve decided to donate the Banksy soup can poster to the Eco Moyo Auction. It supports the Eco Moyo Education Centre in Kenya. ecomoyoauction reached out to me during the competition and suggested that if nobody wins, I donate the poster to them, which I’m more than happy to do. I hope everyone supports this decision.

Mute point anyway, I just like accuracy.
Well done on charity donation btw

Banksy • Soup Cans Poster, by Deleted on Oct 26, 2017 1:00:04 GMT 1, Banksy on Harry Houdini:
"A true cross over between art and real life. Everytime he performed he was always on the edge of either drowning or suffocating. Never afraid to fuck up in public. Apparently annoying to speak to, a nightmare to deal with but utterly compulsive and, in terms of art, the greatest all round artist of the last hundred years. He had timing and art's all about timing. The mark of true genius is timing."

Banksy • Soup Cans Poster, by Gunny on Oct 26, 2017 8:59:42 GMT 1, Great competition and with great questions. I didn't enter however I do believe the chap who got 9/10 apart from the 'how much did Banksy pay' question, should receive the prize (or if more got that 9/10, for a draw). A bit like when no one wins the lottery (sometimes), the next best gets it. Some publications did state he PAID £1 rather than received £!........ just my point of view. Yes, it is a great alternative for it to be going to the charity............. but I just think that's fair.

Banksy • Soup Cans Poster, by caruso on Oct 26, 2017 9:19:59 GMT 1, Thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to enter the competition. I know it was not an easy task. Below are all the correct answers to the competition: 1. At Santa's Ghetto in 2003 who presented The Burner Prize winners award? A: Goldie 2. How much did Banksy pay Bristol Council to hire the Bristol Museum? A: £0 3. At the start of the millennium Banksy decorated a coffin, for who? A: Lez Hutchinson 4. Who has Banksy said his two favourite artists are? A: Gary Larson & Harry Houdini 5. What country did Banksy create these street pieces in? A: Cuba 6. What’s Banksy's favourite film? A: Life is Beautiful 7. What was the name of the painted elephant in Banksy's 2006 Barely Legal show in LA? A: Tai 8. Which graffiti writer was this piece a tribute to? A: Ozone 9. What is the name of this Banksy artwork? A: Playmate of the month 10. Who created the model of Jerusalem that was part of Banksy's Bristol Museum show? A: Tawfiq Salsa Unfortunately, nobody answered all of the questions correctly. You can learn more about the Eco Moyo Education Centre here: www.ecomoyo.com/about-us It's a good thing no one won and it is going to charity instead. Plus it was a very intelligent contest and I learnt a thing or two, so thanks a lot for that.
