They are numbered,stamped and embossed.The hotel also keeps a part of the receipt I assume so that both parts tie in if someone inquires.

Would be a good idea for the future but I doubt it’ll happen because at the end of the day they are only supposed to be souvenirs of the trip. Ive got somebody trying to scam me on the bay at the moment. I’ll be posting a warning on how and what they are trying once I’ve got it sorted 😉 I would like to point out it has nothing to do with the OP.
