Extremely clever vision to even see the grains of the wood and make a great image out of it.
Superb pick up and a really cleverly executed piece
At second look, ive only just realised im an idiot and didn't even realise it was an oil well pumping in the reflection..which i guess is the whole meaning of the piece!
Recently back from the framer. Couldn't be more thrilled with how it came out. Already up in the bedroom.

It's museum glass. I think when the glass is so far from the back wall of the frame it allows more light in to the open space. This allows you to see a bit of reflection. I've noticed on pieces where the museum glass is right up against the mat, you notice the reflection a lot less. I've noted this in museums as well. I thought putting no glass would have let dust build up inside the frame. |

The piece itself is a lot thinner than it looks. I have it floated way off the mat because of the depth of the frame. It needed to be framed. No way to hang it by itself, really.

There is an original canvas which is pure excellence. The print was derived from the OG and that's all I know
