I've posted (previously unblanked out versions of) the numbering on the print and the COA etc and been very clear that I framed it myself. Yes that makes it an amateur job, I work in property not framing. Thank you kultur for stating the bleeding obvious. Also, thanks for your opinion on the framing - If you dont like the job I've done fair enough but others seem to think it looks quite good.

Here is the receipt from when I bought it as further evidence of provenance.

When people are spending £2500+ on an unsigned framed print then it's important that it's been framed to conservation standards by a professional. I don't think anyone is trying to shoot this sale down (I'm certainly not) but it's a subject that's gunna come up whether it's by pm between a potential buyer and the seller or by a post on this thread.

Sell away and good luck with your sale, it's a smashing print and one that I've grown to love more and more over the years.

@wiz you have been around for a while and know that prints and even COA's have been faked.

betty1  I could buy a real banksy and get a real COA from pest control then buy a West Coast Prince copy and put the same number on the print and frame it up and sell the copy and the real COA to someone who wouldnt know the difference. There have been many examples where this has happened.

If you don't check with Pest Control after (at least) or during a purchase (definitely preferred) it is just silly. PC asks for photos of the signature and the numbering and the stamp - whatever is available - guess why they do that? 

This print was not just made by WCP. There was a huge deal quite a few years back where a group was selling TW and other prints as Banksy prints as authentic and they were caught and put on trial... but after 100s were sold.

mjh1234mjh I didnt say I didnt like the framing - I like the frame - the way it looks is odd with the weighting on top - but it is yours. What I do have an issue with is that you seem lazy or unwilling to unframe it - which I think most serious buyers would question. Lazy sellers get lazy prices and this forum is full of them. The fact that you framed it and taped it all up but know you would need to go to a professional to have it undone - well do I need to say more about that?

This is a forum - free speech and all that. Everything could be all legit and that would just be wonderful. Maybe someone learned something.

Only a backdoor one now. I did have an US one but had to sell a few months back to pay a bill, I sold it at cost to me to someone on here and it was a lot less than 2750. I had saved for a while to get it as I wanted a TW / HMV and Gangsta Rat of all the prints, I was gutted to sell but thats that. Anyhow, thats besides the point but I thought to answer your slightly strange question of 'Do you own one?' which seems to me like you were inferring I was in someway hyping the price?, if so then I take exception to it but you are wrong.

I know how difficult it is to find one so I agree re. the scarcity of the print coming up for sale.
I still think that 2750 is a bargain, and I also think that at present the chances of finding a Banksy print at 2250 are slim to none, if so it would no longer be a bargain but a steal IMO.

I have to say the chances of another TW selling for 4500 are slim to zero, if i was selling one id be wanting to price it at 3500 retail, thats where i feel its at, 2700 isnt that bad an offer, remember the khaki that went for 30k or whatever, i wouldnt want to pay over 14k if even, would anyone else on here?? Auctions throw up annomolies.

True, also i always get quoted the high auction realisations never the low, ive broken my rule of posting about prices, have to find something anal and pointless to post to make up...back soon
