i emailed last weekend when he sold the print last time asking about numbering and was given a similar reply. i suggested that the words "limited edition" should be removed as that is clearly not the case. he wrote back telling me not to bid.

yeah, it was someone on here that bought it..and then got the info he needed to pull out. agreed the listing is well dodgy and we should look after each other, yes.. he's a dodgy seller.. who by whatever means has aquired a backdoor print or four.. but there's little we can do about it but advise and constantly warn people to stay away.. it's a drag I know. But he's gonna list, we're gonna warn people.. life goes on.. he's not killing anyone
Besides, it's nice to see everyone pull together to stop people getting burned, so let's see the odd backdoor pop up and we can group hug every now and again ;D

give buyers ALL the information and they can bid accordingly, using "ltd edt" etc is a lie. simple as. he can only sell what he has yes, but at least be honest about it. maybe then there would be less email questions and no need to keep re-listing.
perhaps if he describes them as they are then he's bang to rights for handling stolen goods?

I've watched this guy trading fakes on several occasions : I thought you already knew that they are not numbered. Honestly I am not some sort of scam artist or fraudster or anything of the kind. I can only sell what I have, what esle can I do? I have learnt that there are some hardcore Banksy fanatics as well as some other rather odd people here on ebay but I believe in live and let live, if you dont want the print then thats fine but I dont agree with all the hate that I have recieved over these items. Like I said, all I do is list the items I have to sell, be it clothes, cds, car parts, unnumbered Banksy prints or anything in between, it all gets sold on ebay and that is the spirit of ebay. The fact that there were not supposed to be any unnumbered editions and yet some were made is nothing really to do with me, I can only repeat I have nothing to do with the printers and anyone who buys a numbered print may well be buying something exactly the same as what I offer but with a number pencilled in at the bottom. And while I am certain that not only do they get away with this but their buyers are more than satisified it is not of my nature to alter a print or commit fraud of any kind; although you must understand that if I was to it would make things a damn sight easier regards to all these questions. But once again I reiterate I am an honest seller, just selling what I have, nothing more, nothing less. I am sorry if this offends you in some perverse way but honestly mate it is not my intention to upset anyone, rather just to do the same as any ebay seller and find buyers for things that would be difficult to sell without this medium. That is really all I can offer you in way of explanation, I cannot really add any more. Thankyou.
Just to clear one thing up, they are not fakes. They are prints made, more than likely at the same time as the numbered official prints, the difference is these were discarded/nicked/given as gifts (Some being signed). In no way am I sticking up for Mr Poo Head/Face but this print is the same as our official Turf Wars in all respects apart from being Numbered, therefore its not fake its just stolen/found in the printers or whatever. But then again this one in particular looks like it been half eaten by a dog.

There's always loads of people looking for the sale of the century, but it isn't going to happen on ebay. If i saw something that looked an incredible bargain the first place i'd look is here to see if anyone has flagged it and then start asking questions. It's always best to do some homework or ask advice of someone who may know better.
