The premium rate on your policy for fine arts:

over $100,000: $1.47 per thousand
22k GBP = $33k and if it were the only piece of art one owned it would cost $66 per year and if you already owned $100k worth of art it would cost $48.51. Call it 30 to 40 pounds a year. Art isn't terribly expensive to insure and Chubb is probably one of the more expensive outfits in the US given that they are a "no questions asked" insurer.
Casper, good luck in your search. I think 22 is a fair price myself but I doubt most private owners or dealers agree at this very moment.

imo, that's all the more reason to insure it especially given the cost and your loss if it were stolen or went up in flames. A decade of insurance coverage will cost you in total about 3% of its current value. You're crazy to leave that up on the wall sans coverage from my vantage point unless you are one of the lucky few with more money then time.
