Banksy Laugh Now Print, by sammyman on Jul 16, 2007 22:02:54 GMT 1, I have attached a picture of my new Laugh Now. One thing that I think is interesting is that it appears there are two screens to produce the sprayed effect around the edges of the monkey. It is especially noticeable around the brow (see pic- one is more glossy and one more matte). Can anyone that has a “Laugh Now” verify that this is similar to their print? Thanks!
Also, how solid is the brown color?

If you look at the photo above you can see it pretty well. Look at the nose, it is matte, and the rest of the print is more glossy. Except around the edges where you can see the matte black which creates the splattered look.

This is quite an important thing you have discovered as it can be used to verify any fake prints. I suspect this extra layer of black over black is difficult to reproduce.

I bought the canvas photo of the 'laugh now...' monkeys on the tube car at night from Santa's Ghetto in 2004 (Charing X Rd. Exhb) and I haven't any idea of what it's worth (paid £150 at the time). None of that series are ever on ebay and so I haven't got anything to compare it to... Not that I'm thinking of selling cos it's great.
Anyone else buy any of the others?

Perhaps I'm best getting confirmation from POW that they were sold and maybe try to upload a photo.
