Martin Whatson โข Tiger Print, by Steffen on Nov 22, 2017 23:38:32 GMT 1, good to see a MW release thread following typical UAA fashion.... either way, i much prefer the print edition over the HF version based on the previews.ย at first glance, i thought the HF was the print edition and vice versa.ย the varied background of the print and the overall colors work better in my eyes.ย it is a bit strange that MW missed an easy opportunity to tag with orange/black (or black/white as others have mentioned).ย ย
I was lucky to get on the preorders and thought the same as you (had to decide quick) but saw that it was the other way around after I ordered it. But still think it will look good on the wall as I have almost same color on the walls. But at first glance I like the varied background the most.

I dont know of any gallery or artist who releases the entire run on the drop. Normally a portion of the run is always held back. This is not uncommon at all.

It's 25%-amount varies depending on edition size
