Lemme guess, baseball caps, hoodies and sneakers. No monied suit types you bump into Gagosian or Blum and Poe.
Their art vernacular consists of Josh Vides, Mark Gondek, Invader, Condo and Kaws. Probably won't know who Matt Barney or Shirin Neshat is.
Ask them if they know what PS1 Contemporary is and they'll start referring to the Sony gaming console. SMH.
The Mickey print was definitely my favorite piece from the show. And the triptych was also very impressive in person. Lots of the sneaker/streetwear/art resellers in house on opening night...itโs a shame that itโs become that way.

Iโm doing commissions at the moment so these are ones that they asked for Iโve got 4 more to do and tbh I love playing around with different ideas and like you say different poses and stuff but I can only really do what they want at the moment. It takes the fun away copying. Iโll be doing more original work in the new year once all these are done ๐

The Pooh 36x36 reg edition is around 3.5k with a bit more hype than the Mickey since the Pooh canvas sold at auction for a really high price to someone in HK, but im pretty sure you can get it at 2.5-3k easy. The Mickey reg edition around 3k or cheaper.

Oh the one that went for $4,500 INCLUDING the buyers premium in June lol? Yea not dodgy at all that 5 months later the gallery pushes it to 5x the price.
