Release Times?!?!?, by beejoir1 on Jun 14, 2007 16:40:36 GMT 1, It won't be till the end of the month, 465 prints to ship first!
The Stats for last week were quite insane, this was just from yesterday.

Release Times?!?!?, by corblimeylimey on Jun 14, 2007 18:12:08 GMT 1, Maybe POW should have a stall at Glasto ;D you can imagine the trouble in keeping your print dry and clean, let alone keeping it safe and not losing it ;D

Release Times?!?!?, by themightyreds on Jun 14, 2007 21:11:45 GMT 1, email notification of a specific release time the day before it happens is probably fairest for all. That way you've at least got time to figure out how/when to get to a machine to order from. Does mean a bit of a battle to get them though, whatever the release time is....
It's also nice to get a good description and images of the prints being released before-hand too.
btw. i'm off on the summer hols soon as well so be prepared for a flood of unexpected new releases while i'm away! ;D

Release Times?!?!?, by wildbill on Jun 14, 2007 21:54:29 GMT 1, somewhere between 3 -5pm uk time, but I think that it is best not to announce an exact day or time.

Release Times?!?!?, by RBK on Jun 15, 2007 0:51:10 GMT 1, Whenever it is 10am CST - therefore all the people in the US have a shot (West Coast will have to be up a little bit early) - and it will be afternoon in the UK so most will be happy. And definitely during the week - otherwise lots of people won't go outside during the weekend!

Release Times?!?!?, by paulypaul on Jun 15, 2007 7:57:44 GMT 1, Will you have a way of making payment immediately for this one, or will it be emails? If the latter, really doesn't matter when because it's going to be 'names out of a hat' Paypal invoices.

Release Times?!?!?, by carlito on Jun 15, 2007 10:18:22 GMT 1, i'd have thought with emails its fairly easy to see who mailed first and therefore who gets the print - online payment system especially if the system is flooded is a lot more names out of the hat.... i.e. see last morons release

Release Times?!?!?, by dave313perry on Jun 15, 2007 10:25:17 GMT 1, Hey carlito! Im not so sure e-mails would be a good solution, judging from the recent release from SOS, the way that certain people were having e-mails that bounced and missing e-mails etc. I think a payment system is the way forward, just a way more capable one!!! with a far more capable web-site. Im no techno geek but im sure its possible, but probably at a price which POW are keen to avoid!

Release Times?!?!?, by bobbyt23 on Jun 15, 2007 10:44:16 GMT 1, I think if the demand is high enough both systems are floored because the servers cant cope. Like Carlito said you would have to invest huge amounts of dosh to make it last the onslaught!!

Release Times?!?!?, by discoduster on Jun 15, 2007 14:24:45 GMT 1, Maybe POW should have a stall at Glasto ;D you can imagine the trouble in keeping your print dry and clean, let alone keeping it safe and not losing it ;D
Actually, I could see that happening in a strange way.
Like Curly said they could release Festival over Glastonbury w/e and I could see Banksy's crew just setting up a rogue stall selling 3k prints for fifty quid just for a one off stunt.
Mind you, chances are I'd probably still miss out and end up ruining the w/e!
