I agree that there could possibly some connection between the two artists. If that builds hype around GF, then so be it. Buy the art you love! I don’t own any black background prints, and I like the boxhead image very much. It’ll look great with rude farmer and graffiti truck....maybe ill Be able to grab a GF original one day to add to the collection

  The rude farmer print was sold on the basis that the profits go to some doggy charity. Which made the print an easy buy for a few on here. The Sincura effort Banksy truck just a photoshop rehash of the Banksy truck that Banksy posted online. 

 The thinking behind the Gonefellow print being that Gonefellow could be Banksy in disguise or could be some guy who worked with Banksy to produce the original truck drawing for Banksy which seems kind of weird because Banksy surely has the ability to draw his own drawings.

The hook or selling point regarding Gonefellow seems to be that he could be Banksy or could be someone who knows banksy, part of his inner circle so to speak.

 The rude farmer drawing made into a print is a parody I guess rather than some attention seeking vanity print. There again if Bambi had done the same or anyone else doing a rude gesture based on banksy's rude copper te armchair flipperazzi would be enraged at the dismal effort and copycat lack of originality.

  The only connection regarding these people and Banksy I heard on the rumour mill is that Banksy used to play on Wiz's farm when he was a kid.

I’m not one of the folks you’re referring to who is in the inner circle of raising GF prices to make a profit. I’m just a buyer of art that I like. His pieces being flippable is not, and has not been, my motive for buying the art. I’ve never judged, nor even commented negatively, on anyone’s liking to, or purchase of any art that they admire. Buying just to flip? Yea that I don’t like or support. At the same time, I’m in no place to tell someone how to spend their money, or what to do with the art that they buy.

I’ve had a great deal of interest, as well as numerous offers to buy my graffiti truck, all of which would have resulted in a nice profit for myself, yet it remains in my possession. I understand all of your points, and I respect what you’re saying. However, it doesn’t apply to me or my reasons/motives for buying art.

Vintage “ 50 ‘ Bimbos “ or lovely girls with actress faces in collage style with buildings or urban paysage ( no I don’t think to Faile nor Obey new style ) . We have 10 prints a year like those. Even if some are great.
Old Disney characters updated in some new and contemporary decors ( Anyway Jeffrey Gillette is the best and I forgive him as his artworks are clever and very well done. The Dumbo killed by bazooka is an anthology piece too ) .
Haring and/or Warhol derivations apart Banksy again and some great artists and artworks from SSOSVA playing also with Tesco parodies.
Lichtenstein style ( he hqs done perfectly his prints why to copy him ? )
Wars with flowers or kids,soldiers with kalachnikov and hearts, kids, in Poulbot or Chaplin style etc ..
Bunnies ( I have nothing against bunnies ) or pets ...
Etc etc ...

Why do you think an artist as Pejac is very asked ? Or Pomet ? Or this another ones ( can’t quite all of them ) ? Because they create and are making new things in art, mixing media and art periods ..

Oh, some are really great, but the reiteration could be boring.sometimes, almost if the prints or themes are childish..

There are two scenarios with Gonefellow, 1, it’s an Otis thing of cashing in on a Banksy ‘connection’, as Castle only has two artists, or 2. It is Banksy or a Banksy associate. If it’s the latter then it will never get a Pest control anyway as it was never sold as a Banksy screen print; not that I’m saying in anyway that I think this is a Banksy artwork.

So this leads to the price, which seems very expensive for an artist that to my knowledge has never even been in a group show let alone his/her’s own show. A screen print for me should be released to build on the success of shows and originals. It seems that there several artists now that skip the foundations of building a career and just jump straight to £250 prints. I’m really not sure how sustainable that is.

But as they’re sold out, clearly many see this differently.

Anyway as some common mortals - as me too - are saying : if you like you like, if you don’t like don’t.
I just don’t like that Andy is treated as a profiteur gallerist, he is a nice friend, the only one who liked my posts by the past, when he was still here, and that have been always lovely with me.
He likes poesy and my artworks tooi.
He is not a “ simple money maker “ galerist as some are, here and there. He knows what is good. And is very savant about arts.

In +, Don’t forget that he is friend with Wiz/Fragile ( who asked Gonefellow to pmed him 3 years ago, the only appearance of Fragile here since he left, also, years ago.
Banksy ‘s connection ? Why not ? I am convicted. Some things are so obvious and easy to understand. Apart for the blinds who don't want to see. In another case, some official and unofficial PR would warned us about.

Anyway , I am not his lawyer but his friend, and , to incriminate himself as a “ Cupid merchant “ seems very wrong and naughty .

+ he is Irish and I like Irish people too as my kids have Irish blood in their family.
