Gonefellow 🇬🇧 Print Release • Street Art • Art For Sale, by Lroy on Dec 31, 2017 6:06:08 GMT 1, Gonefellow only has two prints currently in circulation (one more coming in a few months). I think it’s as simple as that. Banksy has many more prints available. Post in the art wanted section. Maybe you’ll have some luck there. Thankyou for for responding in a polite way without abuse, I'm always eager to learn more about emerging artsist you've been very helpful have a good new year maybr you could also pm Andy from Castle Gni , he could get you maybe an AP. If you want of course ( because reading your comments, it looks more about to know if Gobefellow has real value ( because of the Banksy link per example ) than to buy one ...

Gonefellow 🇬🇧 Print Release • Street Art • Art For Sale, by Lroy on Dec 31, 2017 6:08:52 GMT 1, I never understood the gee vaucher thing I think because it was advertised as a big release people jumped in and bought it, strange as soldier was still available last time I checked if people were that convinced I think that would of flown too I was joking about the Vaucher. I think it sold so quick because it's actually a nice image, had similarities to Great Scott and was also supposedly POWs final release. It was a big release for those who wanted art for the wall but a poor release for the flippers - which is just how I like it personally.
I think that it was quick because it was the last print made by Pow. And in Crude oil style also.

Gonefellow 🇬🇧 Print Release • Street Art • Art For Sale, by J0NNY on Dec 31, 2017 6:18:14 GMT 1, If if you like the image that's the reason to buy I keep my investments to diamonds and classic cars never art For someone investing in diamonds and classic cars (neither considered wise investment choices) you sound quite naive regarding art. Have you tried Beanie Babies?
Pretty sure classic cars are one of the best investments you can make if you got the storage.

Gonefellow 🇬🇧 Print Release • Street Art • Art For Sale, by amsterdam9697 on Dec 31, 2017 8:11:49 GMT 1, The bullshit runs deep, so deep... I mean, seriously? Who the fuck has spoken the word 'Gonefellow' outside of a few threads on this forum? Sorry, but the spin @ hyping this chit is fucking laughable... and FYI, anyone can get a print done by Modern Multiples. It's a print house. That's what they do.

The reason these don’t flip is they are priced correctly from source and most are pre sold to collectors.
For the record I don’t own any.

A bit of research will prove otherwise. Personally I have been involved in the classic car world for 30 years, and have made profits on sales. But most will tell you it is a fickle market, more volatile than most investment markets, with a handful of charmers and frequent bubbles whether the muscle cars of a few years ago or the recent Porsche rise. It is a market largely based on emotion and nostalgia, never good driving points for investment. As to taxes, maybe not in UK but in US capital gains tax, same as stocks or real estate.
That said, I take a new ANONYMOUS member who joined 10 hours ago asking about Gonefellow and claiming to be a diamond and classic car investor with a grain of salt. Although I like his Banksy truck piece as a souvenir (NYC based, friend of mine dates his former NYC handler, cooked B dinner, gave me location tips for BOTI), it is not a turnip truck that I have recently fallen off.

I never said as a rule, there are exceptions to every rule. Some Ferraris go up, most go down. Personal anecdotes are great but I challenge you to find any investment advisor that will suggest this path. 57 Chevys and Thunderbirds were prized until the generation that loved them as young men got old and died. Quite inexpensive these days. Personally I'm a fan of stocks and real estate.

Sure this generations future classic cars will be hard game to play but I'm pretty sure the next thirty years are covered.

If, without any due diligence, you think the next 30 years are covered then you should start investing. I prefer my classic cars to be drivers. This is nothing more than a pub argument meant to be had over beer, certainly not an investment forum.

That seems a little cynical to me. People on here, myself included often express admiration for the work of a particular artist. It is not unusual that they own the work of artists that they admire. It seems to me that there is a fine line to be drawn between hyping an artist’s work and merely expressing a like of it. One that I expect has to do with motivation. Unless, of course, your comment was not a general one, but specific to this particular artist?

Ok. Well I don’t know. I wouldn’t like to guess what other’s motivations are. It would be rather sad if you are right though.

Gonefellow 🇬🇧 Print Release • Street Art • Art For Sale, by natstan on Dec 31, 2017 16:46:00 GMT 1, I think most people who have been on the forum for a while have a pretty good idea who Gonefellow is. Nothing to do with Banksy although there is definitely a small link..... The reason these don’t flip is they are priced correctly from source and most are pre sold to collectors. For the record I don’t own any. For an unknown artist with no distinct style and no history of artistic merit, his latest boxhead print - which actually borders on silliness - is not what I would call ‘priced correctly’. As murrke says, anybody else who do this will be scorned.
