It is because the museum has had legitimate shows with banksy before.
the museum selling anything new and banksy related, like a poster where it is sold as a banksy poster, legitimises it more than some dude copying 15 year old prints.
The messed up by calling it a banksy poster. They should have just called it ‘paint pot statue poster’

1. We don't know if that is the issue. Might just be a shipping problem.
2. He did official posters with the museum before, so if these look official but weren't approved that could be an issue... in theory.

Hard to make a judgement without knowing the facts, although these days in USA making judgements without facts seems to be the norm.

Because Banksy has approved WCP ( since 5 years and more he could stopped it at the first minutes ).
WCP is ( for me ) a good guy anyway and proposes good prints too .

Valid point, true that there are too many fighting and squabbles on here... the tone needs to change. Even banksy makes serious art via a whimsical and lighthearted approach!

They didn't have that permission, therefore the run has been withdrawn - from the horses mouth!
