Eine London, by chablis on Jan 17, 2018 23:10:43 GMT 1, Okay, so I too received a 'free' print.
I have to say I like the image, but mine also arrived in poor condition, creased and dinged corners, no protection at all inside a stiff envelope with the print edge to edge. You would have thought he knew something about sending prints to limit damage.
I was going to send a mail, but based on the comments here, clearly there is no point.
I will admit to finding it hard to find something from the shop that I liked enough to pull the trigger. I don't see myself returning to buy anything soon.
So if yours arrives damaged, don't worry, you will be in good company.

Not sure what I was expecting, I'm so used to screen printed t-shirts, but this appears to be heat press lettering.

Eine London, by chevyav53 on Jan 17, 2018 23:22:57 GMT 1, Just received mine this morning and it came fairly unprotected in a 'do not bend envelope' without any further packaging. Damage to all 4 corners. Contacted the shop/Ben and was told it won't be replaced so I can return for a full refund, or nothing. Disappointing. Did you reply to the clothing store folks? I ask as wondering if you should post to his Instagram directly see what he says not some clothing company response who does not care about the art? I may if bad as I am in the US and a long way to travel

The Bristol museum had a lucky escape.
If the products you bought and paid for are shoddy or damaged different story.

I think 99/100 people who ordered first did so for the free print, and that’s why he did it, to get sales going.
Sadly, I think poor shipping when he knows better is bad for his sales.

Yes it is free but that does not mean one should not give a F$&*%&
A print of this size can easily be shipped in sturdy envelope with or without additional paper for next to nothing in additional cost of the original shipping. Received a small Wes21 print from Switzerland and the card was folded, lazy shipping. They had to resend another, little thicker envelope cost was the same.
Just took someone to think it through instead of being quick and lazy, take care of your customer who did buy something. If all prints are damaged Eine Clothing might have just lost 100 customers for a new and expensive clothing line.

Thanks for your contribution, I paid £50 for a t-shirt worth £9.99.
Trust me that transaction was not for a free print, it was well and truly paid for, and I suspect if you received a print in the condition we did, you might mention it too.

I'd say the vast majority of the 100 were buying the print, really. Regardless, it shows the respect he has to his fans and his own art. I personally wouldn't wanted crumpled shit of my own, numbered and signed, out in the wild.
I'm contemplating making a showpiece and float it as a sign of the times.

Eine London, by team3d on Jan 18, 2018 10:06:50 GMT 1, Seen it all now Eine clothing. Pricey and the lure by offering a print. Thought we would go a week without an Eine release. May be not then. Pricey clothing but some of it’s nice to be fair. He’s finally joined the corporates. That’s what you get for hanging around Galleries for too long. Eine coffee shops in the future then 😉 Good luck to him That's the trend really !! See the discussion about 2017 salient art, everybody (politicians, corporates, activist, etc.) are using street art for their own purpose/interest. And it is pricey, perfect for the business, after all, it is all about the money and prestige. Street art lost his soul but very few care about this since all parties of this collusive art world is fine with that (galleries, artists, collectors, etc.). This place has no more "biting" art, just boring art. I have seen worst, see Blek, a guy with strong history and strong art doing boring embarrassings**t prints (Blek le toy). But then, nowadays, doing embarrassing things is not a problem. Street art has become boringly ugly and people with money and power have bad taste (it is not from me, it is actually coming from a real study about dictators/kings and what they buy) Where are the real street artists doing real art for the people ? Not here for sure ! As for Eine Coffee Shop, well well, we had Fairey who managed to put a Mucha-girl-selling-coffee on a French flag at French presidential home, turning French national symbol into a cheap coffee advertisement And some people were amazed by this, it made the buzz for few days. Yet, they fail to see the bigger problem, in the world of media, communication and politics, everything is well calculated and orchestrated. just look at all the editions forum members are chasing, all hype... one thing about obey, he is really about social change, i can tell you money is not his priority, it's why his print release are still super cheap & many commissioned work are all done for free.

But what would whiny little bitches like you do without whiny little bitches to b**chabout? Giving away "free" items is nothing but a marketing ploy remember. They're not doing it out of the kindness of their own hearts. A tiny tube would have been fine. The print is thick enough so that it wouldn't move around too much. Instead they were literally envelopes with cardboard backing seemingly thinner than the print. No big deal for me. It was just easily avoided.

exactly! just because it's a rental car, it give you the license to abuse it ? just because it's free, it don't deserve to ship with care ?

Eine London, by moron on Jan 18, 2018 17:30:42 GMT 1, The print is clearly advertised as free. So understandable that Eine won't exchange them. It's probably damage caused by the postal service. For London, the T shirt and clothes prices seem fair if they are actually screen printed.

Eine London, by p4ryd on Jan 19, 2018 11:41:44 GMT 1, I was lucky enough to be one of the first one hundred but mine arrived with one small ding along the top edge but nothing to complain about - I'm happy.
I think the price of the tee I bought was fair and has some nice touches to the whole item. It may seem expensive but having the swing tags and labels printed and embroidered and the bag it comes in printed all add to the quality of the label/brand you are buying into. The tee was not just vinyl printed, it also has flock (a velvet type material) pressed on which was a nice surprise.
The only thing I am a bit annoyed with is postage cost. They charge £6.00 delivery but then send via Royal Mail with a stamp price printed on of £2.40. Even covering the cost of packing materials this is a bit much. Okay, there was an extra delivery cost for sending out the print but this was a free print and was their choice to send separately.
It won't be a label for the hyperbeast but I personally think they are very good quality garments.
