You guys have got better eyes than me!
My pics were from 4 or 5 years ago when I sorted the CoA, so thought I better take some fresh ones in light of some of the observations on hereโฆ
So just dug the Soupcan out of storage, where itโs been stored flat for years. (I've had it since 2007).
Generally in very good condition, but as has been suggested, it looks like it has been framed at some point in its early life, as there is some tape residue on the back โ clearly I didnโt check that before.
Pics show that the edges / corners are good, image is crisp and not faded. See new images I took last night. It's still a great piece.
Obviously, anyone interested is, and would have been, welcome to inspect in person prior to any sale.
A little peculiarity to make this print even more special...
Whilst digging out the print / paperwork, I was reminded of how long it took to get the CoA. Copies of emails below, showing that the man himself had to inspect and authenticate this print.
Yes, Banksy was required to authenticate this print in November 2015.
Fortunately Banksy recognised his own work, and authenticated it, and I got the certificate in April 2016.
