I don't like everything sold by Marks and Spencer but that doesn't mean that I go round slagging them off because they sell prawn c**ktail (ughhh). Simple if you don't like don't buy.
Agreed... I think there are a number of reasons why people might seem disappointed. I have no doubt that POW will continue to ROCK it with some killer work soon.
One question though: How would you consider the Todd James' print to be "tricky"? It looks pretty simple to me really. Straight colors, no blending, color theory is pretty simple, simple registrations, doesn't seem that hard to print to me.

In his own words, a monkey could do it.
And to be frank, I honestly think so too.
Registration is a piece of piiss to do. get heavy acetate, some tape. viola. u have to be blind or extremely malcoordinated to get registration wrong.
Colour separation. Using the skills of a kindergarten schoolkid colour mixing skills assisted by a young adult and you got your colour separation. Want opaque, use more pigment.

It took me a LONG time to appreciate Eine's work, as I didnt appreciate that the poduction of the piece was a work of art in itself rather than the more obvious and most unartistic subject matter ( lettering in different fonts?  ?) A giclee is a piece of piss to knock out, but a well crafted screen print will have very minor differences, smudges etc that make each one an individual, handcrafted pieces of art, requiring alot of skill and patient input from both the artist and the printer.

I'm sure they are probably perfect material for book/maunal illustrations, graphic advertising etc, but as 'picture on your wall' artists, there is a very small audience. Being in the creative world myself, I appreciate their talent, but I think its in the wrong place.... on the other hand, Banksy is quite graphic, but it is very well controlled and has a very clear message.

Nick, Mike and the crew REALLY know their stuff and I find them super pleasant to deal with, though pricing can be a bit high but it has to be, that location/lighting/materials does not come cheap.
I think BRP for serious quality cutting edge prints, and SOS for the odd gem and a good old school party and vibes.
For POW loosing Steph and Ben was like loosing its head and hands.
