At the time I commented that they could also look great when framed up, as per this example from PFG.

Regardless of how many were eventually printed I would say an asking price of ยฃ350-ยฃ400 wouldnโt be that unreasonable.

My (albeit novice) estimate was 50k given his market, so I personally feel like this was priced rather competitively. Clearly printmaking is enough of a segment of his artistic output that Gagosian dedicated an entire exhibition to his prints, this arguably being the star of the show. |

I do think there are any secondary sales that would support a valuation like ยฃ50k. ยฃ25k is a bonkers primary price for a mid career artist imo. |

My opinion is that he has taken one of the most beautiful and interesting fruits Mother Nature has sculpted and reduced it to a poor iPad drawing resembling frogโs spawn. The leaves are lifeless. The colour palette lacking. My wall-space and my mind-space would not tolerate being presented with this print set.
Any thoughts on the ยซPineapple 1 2 3ยป edition from Hamilton? 15K/set of three. Edition of 30. 18x15
