Agreed. A signed one would be a different story. No idea what a good price would be for one though. Not super familiar with the market for Wood because he's mostly way out of my price league.

Shio has two four prints sets out- I think at $12k total- but if you put Jonas name on it- theyโd be six figures or close to it. Do you think it will catch up and work itself out?

That's a bargain if you break it down to $150k per drawing, given their size and quality and previous auction results of similar works by the artist. But as has been mentioned they received better offers but liked the terms of them being donated to a large museum. I imagine it also pushes the buyer up to the top of the queue for purchasing originals, is a huge charitable donation and tax deduction. Does anyone know if they are going to the museum immediately or do they get to live with the buyer until he decides to hand them over ? |
