it's the lettering on them that let them down imo

pretty boring tbh.

I like Jonas Wood, however, these don't do it for me. I would like to see more detail, a larger size, and I'm not a fan of the notepad stamp at the top.

These are the standard logos on some of these releases, it makes them a bit different with the 'notepad' comment earlier.

They're not really tiny either for a handmade lithograph, by the looks of it, same size as last year's doodle lithograph.

I think some people have got used to these huge, cheap-looking, mass produced, overbearing prints that some artists release but this artist is in his own league imo.

I think if you are buying Jonas it needs a plant leaf or basketball in it... I know that sounds absurd, but it's not meant as a joke.

Personally I like them and they provide a good link to his wife Shio Kusaka and her work. Unfortunately they seem to not be as accessible to the masses whereas his colourful plant work is pretty much appealing to most people. If I had the money I would purchase them!

Final heads up for those who might be keen to get this. Sold out everywhere but Gagosian still has a couple left.

Been going back and forth on this one and that's exactly how I would have framed it. May have pushed me over the edge...digging the all black surround. Thanks for the pic.
