You want the guys that made Amsterdame to make you a painting of a bell.....

It could actually fit nicely in line with something like Crown & Country.

On Sunday I went down and took some pics from Prefab77 show in York.
Some of the new stuff is brilliant

Thanks, I’m really pleased with it. Yeah it’s from the York show, I just collected it today. There were a few nice pieces. He had done three on metal, this flag and two different variants of women. I think one of the women on metal was still available when I was in today. 

The results of the surveys are in and are as follows.
Thanks to everyone for getting the replies back to me.

As the size option was tied I think we’ll leave the option to Prefab77 to see what works best for the artwork.

Prefab77 are getting some images and colour palettes together for us to again vote on, and should be back soon

The print run will cost £200
There is also an opportunity for those that voted for something special on wood/metal to possibly get an edition of 10 special pieces. (cost £450-£500)(I will contact those that voted that way to check for firm interest)

Once image design and colours have all been tied down, its only fair that full payment is taken before Prefab77 start work on them, this will then determine the final edition size.

There were 56 surveys sent out and 54 replies received, Has anybody got any opposition to the edition size being a maximum of 56. 
This allows everyone involved up to this point to get a piece of artwork.

The vote for Screenprint will consist of a screenprinted layer, as with a lot of Prefab77 works, there will be loads of painted layers


Prefab have confirmed the technique will be:

i) Painted Background (we can discuss color options, Light Grey, Light Yellow or another color)
ii) Printed Pattern (in a light color, maybe gold?)
iii) Hand stencil layer for the Specials, Printed layers for the Main
iv) Black layer print (I normally use a UV gloss layer which makes it pop agains the Matt background)
v) Hand finish, Double stamp, Signature

Prefab77 will show the design steps of all of this and are really up for creating something top class for the group

Entry’s for the survey need to be in by 8pm UK time, Prefab77 has some free days next week to concentrate on the commission so we need to get the results back to him tonight.
