As said above this is happening more and more and it really does lower the tone of this fine establishment. On a personal note i find it very rude not to introduce yourself and clearly shows contempt for what this art forum is/was about. And people wonder why the world is going to the dogs, yes i am a little grumpy this morning..
Also a prereq post count for art sales would help ward off scammers; seems like there have been quite a few shady dealings on this forum over the past year or two. Luckily most seem to have been resolved.

Definitely have our share of assholes on here. But the "clown" is the person that comes on a Banksy forum & w/ no introduction & tries selling a print with no PC or even idea of value. The one thing the majority of these guys excel at, even more than insulting first post sales threads, is their knowledge of art & prices. You could learn a lot if you'd bother doing more than attempting to make a buck. I've met some great people on here by listening & contributing on occasion. Fine example of the problems w/ this place.

We are watching and it is noted, these one post sales will be sorted out. No disrespect to the original poster. Members must remember that not everyone has been buying or selling for years and knows what to post. Those with more experience should be guiding them rather than ripping them apart.

I certainly don't think you would get banned for expressing that opinion smokey
The other side of the coin is that I don't think being a guardian is an easy (unpaid volunteer) job. I think they are still finding their feet. They have to try to tread a very fine line. If they delete posts or even accounts they will be accused of censorship. If they don't they can be accused of not doing enough. Not easy.
I also suspect that they do a fair bit of moderating behind the scenes that we never see.
Personally I think that deleting posts or accounts should be a very last resort.
