Banksy Grannies Print, by rob on Mar 8, 2016 16:43:58 GMT 1, It's part of the reflection on the glass. It is float mounted which will obviously hold certain areas of the print closer to the backing board but there are no creases.
Any buyer is welcome to inspect, I wouldn't want waste anyone's (or my own) time by giving a false condition if there was damage.

Banksy Grannies Print, by Deleted on Mar 9, 2016 2:55:52 GMT 1, I hate to be a jerk, but the eBay auction for this print ended on 3/7. No one placed a bid at £3500 and here it's listed for £4000. What gives?

Banksy Grannies Print, by rob on Mar 9, 2016 9:38:31 GMT 1, Hi, you are correct that the piece was previously listed on eBay.
I do actually want to sell the print, so as eBay wasn't working for me I am offering the print to the forum.
Now regarding the price. From past experience, if I were to list the print at £1500 I would still get offers, therefore I have set the price of £4000.00 with room for negotiation.
If I don't receive an offer that I as the seller am comfortable with selling at I shall keep it on my wall.
I hope this makes sense to people.
Thanks
Rob

Banksy Grannies Print, by 11 on Mar 10, 2016 19:54:08 GMT 1, I think the issue is people setting a price on eBay where they are subject to fees and then coming here and trying to charge even more - ordinarily I would expect a sale here to be more attractive by off-setting the fees, not the other way around.
The buyer would have received £3250 if it had sold on the bay at the opening bid but thinks we will be fighting to give him an extra £750 here?

Banksy Grannies Print, by rob on Mar 10, 2016 21:11:11 GMT 1, I agree with 'Duggyfresh' that any commodity is only worth what someone wants to pay, be it a house, car or whatever. But, it also takes a seller to agree the price of sale. There are certain leverages for either side, how much the buyer wants the item and how desperate the seller is to sell. I have already stated that I would like to sell however at a price I am happy with.
To reply to '11' our Forum guardian, I have neither stated or thought that 'people will be fighting to give an extra £750'. I have already stated that there is room for negotiation on the price. If I said I want £3250 I would get messages offering £2500.
Brookvale, Please refer to section 11 of the Forum rules as opinions of the price is not the place to debate the matter. If you have a differing view you should refer to the Price Check section and debate the matter there.

The fact that someone was stupid enough or desperate enough to be hoodwinked doesn't make it "on point".

By now we should know to apply a 0.8 factor to anything a2bob says. Unless, of course he ever mentions buying a print for his "personal collection" at which time immediately multiply by -1

A local gallery near me has had one for sale for a year at £4K and it remains unsold. Should be priced well below that through private sale.
