Hoxton Square Stik statue, by Deleted on Sept 18, 2018 10:12:34 GMT 1, I was in London at the weekend and made a special journey to Hoxton square to see this but it wasn't there. Does anybody know what happened? Did the project get cancelled? Or did it get blown down by the wind and get taken away?

Hoxton Square Stik statue, by Deleted on Sept 18, 2018 11:03:22 GMT 1, Thanks for the comments. Seeing as this was publicised back in March I thought it would have been erected by now. But pleased to hear it's still going to happen.

Hoxton Square Stik statue, by Deleted on Jul 19, 2019 11:24:51 GMT 1, From what i understand the original statue was built incorrectly.
Stik wants it to look good from all angles and the original only looked right face on, the back was clearly the back and not finished properly.
A new one is being built to fit his requirements. Slightly bizarre that you could build this incorrectly as it’s a fairly straight forward build but stick has exacting standards.

There are plenty of canvasses coming out of his studio.

Which is also why he recently destroyed the retrieved Polish mural pieces. Not sure about that. He could have easily donated the pieces to different charities but I believe he destroyed them to prove a point. Also the story behind the Polish pieces is ruined because of what happened so getting rid was probably the best thing to do.

He didn't want the value of his other charity sales undermined.

If I say something you can take it as fact 😀
He’s currently only selling large ‘holding hands’ canvasses but more go out the door than people seem to think.
No shows, no prints, no anything, so how else do you think he funds his life?
£36000 canvases is how

He charges more for one canvas. Must have other companies. Cash is king and all that but you can’t have a TO that low 😂

He’s clearly declaring nothing. I know he’s selling canvasses..

What’s your point Pete? What are you seeing?

Hoxton Square Stik statue, by Deleted on Jul 20, 2019 14:02:07 GMT 1, What’s your point Pete? What are you seeing? My point is that the conclusions that you’re coming to simply cannot be derived from those documents. I don’t think that the numbers shown mean what you seem to think they mean. If you have your own small business, or perhaps work for one, why not compare the publicly available information for that business as a comparison.
I’ve run businesses for years and publish full accounts rather than these rather abbreviated ones. My conclusion is that if stik is selling £100,000s in art every year these accounts don’t really indicate that..
I appreciate TO and other key information is missing but the numbers in every aspect here are very low indeed. Even cash in the bank for a major artist seems laughable.
