I think you should share your thoughts. This is what a forum is for anyway, so Kong as it remains factual and doesn't become personal as soon many of these do.

If someone bought a Girl With Balloon for less than ยฃ200 and it's market is now ยฃ85k, that's a paper profit of nearly ยฃ85k.
To buy a Wayne T at current market of $85k, that price would need to increase to a sale of $185k to make it a similarly attractive investment.
Even if the Banksy piece dropped back to ยฃ50k The WT would need to realise around $150k.
And I thought the gist many of the posts was that Girl With Balloon was overvalued as a print at $100k.
My head hurts.

But the point here is that people buy art in general based on what they like not what potential value it might gain and for someone to say that one thing will definitively accrue more value over another is wrong. We do not own crystal balls!
With my own private clients I would suggest that one would possibly be a better investment but would not guarantee and say I am right, that is just misleading and irresponsible.
