Even if I still owned the print I wouldnยดt sell it for that price today, so all pms regarding this print will be ignored. I sold the print to a nice forum member back then and of course I have to admit, that looking backwards it doesnยดt look like a good deal moneywise. But it felt like the right thing to do for me back then. I had paid about 50 for it when I bought it and was quite suprised when the prices went up that high. I was a student with very low income and the money really helped. I still think that there are many better Banksy images. I started following Banksys art (and many other artists, that have become really successful) in the in the early 2000s and you can believe me that there is an uncountable amount of decisions of not buying certain artworks that I regret much more than selling this one.

Retail they have been selling around 425-475k Gbp but this will be a good indicator to see where market sets. Its just the auction house will extract their pound of flesh ...

If it doesn't hit estimates I think it will still stay with them for possibility of private sale or go to New York in July for another auction. |
