Just been, he's painting a mural as mentioned and the print box sets are still available. I know it's not a fashionable thing to say.. but I prefer his older work, specifically the gallery nosco era

For anyone that hasn't visited the show yet, there are still some strong small (and a couple larger) ink drawings available for sale.

And a few other OG's still available including the rainbow bear, a nice cardboard piece, skeleton drawing, surfer in the tube.

Loads still for sale, only the mouse posters and jars of honey have sold out. Still at least half of the drawing looked to be available.

Also the boy being fed by trucks, the maze, the girl made of flowers...just the ones I remember

dont spose anyone has taken pics of them have they? i bought one of the fireball ones but im tempted to go back and get another, maybe a smaller one if the image is right, i think the fireball one is just too big for my house

A few anecdotes about the work:

* the ink pieces are Dan's daily drawings throughout the spring (yes, we probably all knew this already)

* the mouse pieces are called Gring Gring. It is named such with reference to the gruyère cheese he is holding

* the “Evasion” print references the classic escape scene from The Shawshank Redemption but instead with our protagonist escaping the agitation of mental penury via a hole concealed behind a poster of Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres’ “The Valpinçon Bather”, a painting known for the calm composition and the harmonious lines of its subject. I believe this is well probable indeed and contrary to what you said, I know nothing about anything, that's the only sure thing ;-)

Went today, completely underwhelmed. I have quite a few Dran pieces going back over nearly 10 years, but this series of works are flat, uninspiring and in my opinion lifeless. Dran always had the ability to make me smile and have a chuckle, but this series of works lacked humour. The drawings, seen them in similar fashions over the decade, so these didn't feel new.  The prices for the drawings are ridiculous, given that they are not even signed. I have to agree with Carl Cashman, when he was at Nosco he was bordering brilliant, then went to POW and the Marks and Stencils Show took him up another level, but since that debacle in Brewer Street, he has lost his edge, culminating in this show.

Average show 5/10 - I know that my opinion will differ from others, and thats ok, its just my opinion.

Of course everyone’s opinion is different and that’s what’s exciting about the art world but I have to challenge ‘lacked humour’!

How can you not smile at a bee carrying home pollen, a robot having an oil bath, a boy with a dandelion blown in his face or a scarecrow feeding crows!!

The conceptual subtitley and irony is what made me warm to this body of work. I have to say that personally though, it’s this sense of Dran that I love most!

With Dran being from Toulouse and the flag of Toulouse being a gold cross on a blood red background is that not a given? D'or et de sang - Of gold and blood
