I really don't think a few Red lines and the word "vibes" can be classed as a great print!
Sure the DS addicts will buy anything he pumps out, but at these price levels it will just be his fans.
Let's see how quick CE force prices up this time, probably just a few prints in lowest few tiers

And I totally understand many will have Vibes on their walls before for instance a big orange Armageddon print. His fan base are increasing, its a classic DS, the quality from CE is great. I totally understand many react to this, because it looks quite simple at first glance, but its not. It took a while before the Miller prices exploded, galleries couldnt sell them, they were "just books". Those who like shrigley, really do, how many Life is Fantastic have ever been on ebay? The prices on his best prints have slowly increased for a long time. Hangup had one Life is Fantastic for 5250, sold in 2 days I believe, now I can only find one and 6k+.

There is no hype, no overnight sensation. He just does what he does and let's us decide. I love his work, and his huge fan base mostly buy for that reason alone, which is why you don't see much secondary. It seems to me that those that do not like his work feel the need to express it more than those that do.

I remember walking into the Hayward and being blown away by Davids show there in 2012. I know people on here see him as a new flash in the pan but he's been around before this forum began. He's a real artist with real credentials and won't be going away for a long time.
