I love the astute commentary in this thread. it's £60 for a fun image openly described as "fake art". There is even an accompanying video mocking the whole release as being an obvious cash grab. Buy it or don't buy it, but enough with the banal self-righteous opinions about the lack of originality and how capitalist greed drives the art market. 

and instead of actually buying quality art from some unknown talent, they are here whining about people on this forum spending £60 on a fake banksy. hahahaha

Cheap and high quality knockoff. Great, LV bag and yeezes from aliexpress next 👍 And a connor brothers print and your all set with all almost legit stuff one need 🧐

Nope, I can’t. And wouldn’t prioritise LV or yeeze either, but in my opinion it’s not something that justify supporting the production of copies/items that are “inspired by”.
When looking at these and the Connor brothers “art” you realise how insanely good the original artists are, which might serve a purpose but I still think that if one cant afford something, a copy will never fill that hole and is also supporting people that steal ideas for a living.

Realise that not everybody see it the same way, just finds it fascinating that so many banksy fans support something that banksy so clearly have shown his disgust against over the years.

These are just a bit of fun and at least are produced clearly as fakes from a studio who probably know banksy well. 

When Banksy prints were £20 I might have agreed with you, but now they’re £5k+ they have become unaffordable for most. It just seems pretentious to say that if you can’t afford the real thing a copy won’t feel the void. This is nonsense and as someone who owns multiple banksy prints, as well as WCP copies I gain the same aesthetic joy from both. I also have a Henri Rousseau in my lounge, which I can honestly say gives me as much pleasure as the original in The National Gallery.

I think some of these Not Not Banksy pieces look really nicely made, they have a goos Street Art feel about them that many prints just don’t have anymore.
