This should have been collected from us by Fedex on Friday, but unfortunately wasn’t picked up. Our despatch team have asked Fedex to explain why this happened, and in the meantime have re-booked the collection, which is now due to happen tomorrow on Tuesday December 4th.
Fedex will be in touch with you directly to notify you of the revised delivery time.

I just spoke to fedex after tate said it was being sent today instead of yesterday and fedex say that the item is also missing
Tate are saying that they handed it over to fedex as part of a bulk collection however there is no fedex scan saying they have ever received it which us aparenbtly highly unusual.... so either Tate are bullshitting and it was never handed over or fedex have lost a load of 11KG massive wooden crates randomly
My gut feeling is that tate have bundled the crates together and sent them to fedex as a job lot with doing an inventory and some of them either were sent elsewhere or have disappeared, either way I am sure fedex dont have my crate and neither do tate

A similar sounding thing happened with the first batch.
Emails went out about delivery but Fed Ex had no details, and it turned out the order with Fed Ex had been started, which creates an automated email, but they were still being checked by the warehouse that sends them out.

To be fair, this is common practice. This even happens on e-bay. I print a label to send an item off and it automatically comes up as sent even though I don't actually post it until the next day or the day after that. I'm guessing Tate and FedEx work the same way. |

Initially intended to have a bit more space between the print and the frame but the project proved difficult and I’m satisfied with how it turned out. I’ve kept the plastic wrap on until I get it up on the wall. It shows up a little darker than in person. Might be the plastic wrap but probably just the lighting.

What’s the cost of a tray frame of this size.
Is it wood on the bottom of the frame - ie the same as the frame wood on the sides?
How is it fixed to the tray frame and also - how do you then fix it to the wall?

I had to explain to Fedex that my print wasn’t a sculpture. Now it’s trotting along the United States on the back of a pony taking its sweet time through Tennessee.

It’s art we are talking about and not items required for basic survival. Nobody NEEDS a Damien Hirst print on their wall.
Basic economics comes into play if people don’t pay high asking prices on the secondary market. Price will drop. It’s the buyers that are to blame for the practice of ‘flipping’. If there weren’t buyers prepared to pay above face value then we wouldn’t have the sellers.
