I'm going to hold mine until after the spring auctions in the hope that one will hit Sotheby's or Christie's and set a new piece precedent. I can see them hitting £15-20k based on size, image quality, edition size and the difficulty in obtaining them.

- Phillips didn’t have visibility on market pricing, so took a conservative view
- Buyers surprised them
- EBay listing was put on at a BIN price pre-Phillips
- Someone watching the Phillips (one of us?!) hit them on that BIN once the auction finished
