it's framed since purchase in 2003 - reckon that'll help its value.
no way would sell for under 2k! would be looking higher end as i love it too much, but am considering selling it as it seems like as good a time as any, not gona hang onto it forever.

As for the pricing with and without pinholes I don't think with is half the value of a mint one. If you carefully frame it and the pin holes are towards the edges they won't be visible.

(ARTWORK IS IN PRISTINE CONDITION OTHER THAN 4 SMALL PINHOLES, ONE ON EACH CORNER. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT HAS BEEN RESTORED AND IS CLEAN OF ANY MARKS AND/OR FOLDS)
I presumed that it was all restored. Now when I got to work I noticed that my offer had been accepted, so i logged into ebay and was able to load all pictures, Now I see 4 of them clearly showing large pinholes in each corner and none are near the edge of the paper.
This is probably my fault in not reading the description correctly but without seeing the pics I just thought it was all totally restored including pinholes.
That is why I was asking just to guage the difference in price on a damaged print.
I am yet to hear back from the seller

I think fundamentally, if the image can't realistically be mounted without the pinholes then I would expect a the price paid to reflect this.
The description isn't vague when the photos are available though I guess??

That said in both it does clearly state there are pinholes and there are pictures. I think the seller has been honest about this and as a bidder you should have checked everything was as you want before making a bid.
I have a HAND with two pin holes that is framed so they can't be seen; they are in the middle close to the edges so easier to manage "hiding" than on this BME. I know nothing about restoration, but am pretty sure you could get the pinholes filled (ready for comments that I am talking out my arse!)

I would argue that the onus is on the seller to get authentication, rather than the buyer; and, if they cannot get it, walk away.
There are other WSMs out there. I know of one that may still be available from a trusted forum member.

If your not sure and having doubts i would not proceed imo.
I am overly cautious though.

Agree with Adamk, the onus is on the seller to provide this. There are any number of people out there with high standard commercial standard scanners who would make light work of running off a couple of copies. Elm's 'Neate' prints good examples of this - I suspect this is why with the recent Parla release they made the COA process quite robust.

Not really possible as print is in the US and I am in OZ, I have now left it upto them to get the COA.

When things took off can u imagine how many people looked at there GWB or whatever tacked on the wall and said fuck me .... Took me forever to get a BME as well I paid 1900 quid for a mint print with COA and thought I was getting a deal things have gotten worse since then.
