Did the same. The XL version is a little much to try and frame.

I feel we’ve entered a time where prints are just really expensive now. Especially from artists who are trying to assert themselves as more contemporary-refined artists. Also, I think some artists are sepcfically silkscreen minded first with emphasis on prints, but someone like Jake is a painter first who probably doesn’t even think about prints in his creative process . I don’t think he would ever create a pure silkscreen. Although these prints do have silkscreen varnish.
I think the charcoal is actually a pretty good price considering each one is unique.

I also think most people in the art world don’t care as much about silkscreen versus giclee like we do on here. A good image is a good image.

All the hand finished small ones are sold out, tempted for a large one but thinking about the head spinning framing cost.

Just got mine. Might be my favorite print ever and will probably stay that way for a while. Anyone else get one and want to post pictures?

Thanks. I really like it as a lot of time handfinishing is purely aesthetic but I feel like this completely adds to and changes the piece.

My print arrived on Friday. It was much better than I anticipated.

I absolutely love these. Only just discovered his IG the other day, right after the prints sold out. Would've bought a black/charcoal small without hesitation.

Like the frame. Suits the print nicely in my opinion, dark and brooding.

I really like the image but not paying that much for a splotteched aka Hand Finished Giclee from a newer (to me) Artist.

I feel like that frame may have been pulled off that ship.  Have been struggling to resist the crimson one.  Hopefully it's sold out.
