Banksy’s bought at car boot sale, by trickyvicky on Jul 30, 2018 4:38:29 GMT 1, Hi we are the couple in question. It’s thanks to you guys we managed to research and sell our prints. They were all framed the same and in superb condition. We loved our art work and semi sad to see them go. However living in a council house and no disposable income, we jumped on the opportunity to get married. We have been together 10 years and before we found each other we had been through the mill separately, and fully deserve it. A £10,000 wedding bought us a nice wedding at a country estate. It might seem cheap to some people who waste money, but we are good bargain hunters and see no reason why we should pay more. We’ve had a bit of luck for a change and feel our marriage will out last the pictures by far. We are honeymooning in Thailand right now and no signs of divorce yet 😜 by the way among the carboot find was a James Courty signed Operation magic kingdom anyone interested ?😉

Banksy’s bought at car boot sale, by silvermyn on Jul 30, 2018 10:18:38 GMT 1, Would the sellers really not realise the value? Especially after they've obviously bought them from somewhere themselves When I finished my A Levels I went around Europe for a couple of months before going to University. On my return, I discovered that my sister had cleared my room of some stuff she thought I didn't want and took it to a charity shop! There was nothing of great value lost (sentimental perhaps) but it does go to show that these sort of situations can arise.
It would be very interesting to know who the seller was and what the story is behind how these prints ended up at a car boot sale.

Amazing that the print was in good nick given how hard they are to store. 10k for a "dream wedding" ?? - the average cost of a wedding in the UK is now in excesss if 30k! These pair need to have bigger dreams (should of hung onto the Banksy`s too)
The average wedding is tacky AF and full of people you haven't seen since school.

Banksy’s bought at car boot sale, by Carl Cashman on Jul 30, 2018 11:30:06 GMT 1, Presumably it's referring to the edition numbers. If they 'supposedly' knew the prints were real, they would not call them serial numbers, and the 'seller' selling the 3 for £25 in a car boot sale! This used to be the Banksy forum but the 'knowledge' known nowadays leave me speechless. OK... As you were... "Wow, an incredible find"!!! News reporter changes words of the person they interviewed 'shock'
Wtf is wrong with people, for once can everyone just be happy for someone else ?
Congrats on your wedding, if you want any Art to replace the banksy prints il happily send you a panel as a congratulations.

Banksy’s bought at car boot sale, by moron on Jul 30, 2018 22:31:45 GMT 1, If they had been stolen (by someone who knew their value) why would they have ended up in a car boot sale? Because often people who break in to houses and are opportunist altho consistent burglars and the type who have a habit to feed either alcohol or other steal anything they can sell for a tenner down the pub and probably wouldn't know what a framed prints real value is. Car boot sales and flea markets are known for having stolen stuff, often power tools etc.

Banksy’s bought at car boot sale, by moron on Jul 30, 2018 23:14:00 GMT 1, Fair enough but I think if an opportunist thief didnt recognise they were valuable they wouldnt have bothered taking them, go for the small electricals One would be surprised as to what some low lifes steal.
I'm sure the prints at the boot sale were not stolen just maybe someone made a mistake or didn't know who the prints were by.
