Whatson/Pez colab, by robalb on Aug 9, 2018 19:20:34 GMT 1, I find it surprising thereโs always a huge buzz around Graffiti Prints releases, yet his High Up print which formed part of his โArctic Tourโ appears to have gone by relatively un-noticed. I liked the idea of having to attend to be in with a shot!
Perhaps when emails are registered they should fully identify the entrant with a postcode or zip code in the body of the email and the credit card used to pay should match. I accept its not infallible but it may prevent some aliases being created giving all an equal chance.
Finally, I think the lottery option is definitely preferred to the drop given the number of bots around!
I donโt mind if I luck out as long as the prints end up in the hands of genuine fans / collectors.

Too much detail would of been lost doing a screenprint on these. But normally GP is all about screenprinting over Giclee.
Although Many people on this site need to learn that Giclee is not a bad word. So many people see that word and instantly think inferior product compared to screenprint which is not always the case.

The exact response I would expect from you or any other troll/alt account.

I can see the rationale behind not liking giclee but at the same time is it really that big of deal? I mean how much more difficult is the process of a one color screenprint? People donโt seem to mind that. That last question is actually a question if someone wants to answer

In my eyes itโs just a matter of effort and time put into it. Sure giclee is fine, if itโs an image I love at a appropriate price point I donโt have an issue with it overall. But if Iโm paying $800 I want something that work was put in to.

What if the artist was more of a traditional painter or someone that doesn't concern themselves often with prints? I can see not wanting a Whatson giclee for 800, but what if there is an artist that creates a giclee of a painting they have made? I think it'd be more justifiable then, no?
Just trying to gauge the level of giclee hatred on this forum and when it's tolerable

I think ultimately it just comes down to price.
