Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by funyoung on Apr 1, 2008 20:08:28 GMT 1, not sure there have been that many sold for price results. they could easily have sold on ebay as the same thing. never seen one advertised as an 'LA' or 'POW' in title.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by bonesy on Apr 1, 2008 20:36:15 GMT 1, I havent noticed any of the LA trolleys on ebay since the POW release. The LA value before the POW release was around $1200-$1500 or so, but that was also kept down because folks were anticipating the POW release of it. The LA would fetch a premium today. I think Trolleys sold out second in LA.
If someone were selling an LA print they would advertise it as such.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by bigdave on Jan 30, 2007 12:35:54 GMT 1, i'd love to get my hands on the LA version of Trolley Hunters, i'm afraid i haven't got of the prints you are after though.
your gonna have to offer up some money with the trade to get any of these prints. The last LA trolley hunter went for around £750 on ebay before christmas

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by monochrome on Jan 30, 2007 17:17:27 GMT 1, Moritz - you want to swap a £600-700 print for something £1500-3000
seems fair.

This is just an idea. I spoke to someone from a gallery who said it would probably be worth 1000-1500. I did not know it was only £750.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by BK83 on Jan 30, 2007 21:55:37 GMT 1, its not worth only 750 -- its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. dont listen to anyone who tells you any different. you could easily get 1k-1.5k for that print if you sold it at the right time to the right person.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by incognito on Jan 30, 2007 22:45:45 GMT 1, altough relatively speaking you could sell the wants for more, to the right person at the right time etc... personally i think you're best off selling at the right time, ie when this sothebys auction is hyping things up, then sit on your cash for a bit and buy what you really want as they start to level back out to "normal" levels. you need to be very, very patient though my friend. and watch the market like a hawk.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by incognito on Jan 30, 2007 22:47:49 GMT 1, alternatively you could buy up what you want this week while there is still the odd bargain about, then sell during the mass hysteria that will inevitabely ensue. your choice though pal, just a thought.

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by monochrome on Jan 30, 2007 23:09:42 GMT 1, in 2 weeks (probably) most of the LA prints will be flooding ebay. prices will be £500 just like most unsigned prints from 2006
this 'right person, right time' isn't fact, more wishful thinking. no LA print including Trollies has gone past the £700 mark including the mad dash for prints during LA

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by BK83 on Jan 30, 2007 23:24:52 GMT 1, I disagree, monochrome -- I think you will find that many people will be intrigued by the LA version when the full color POW version comes out next month. I for one much prefer the LA print to the one POW intends to release and would be happy to exchange with anyone who owns an LA trollies, should I be fortunate enough to have my name pulled up in the lottery for POW trollies.

For one, it was hinted to Silky when he was having a chat with the POW peeps.
(Irrelevant question: Why have we suddenly lost the ability to edit our posts after a short time has passed? What purpose could it serve? I come across grammatical/spelling errors from re-reading my own posts from time to time, and not being able to correct them drives me up the wall. I know, I'm weird. But still... why? )

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by corblimeylimey on Jan 31, 2007 12:11:15 GMT 1, It will definitely have more colour, as POW put up that information on their site about the time of the release of Applause, they said something to the effect that it wasn't ready as Banksy himself decided it needed more colour, grumble, grumble.

I've made such an agreement with lesroy, but if he doesn't get a POW version (which would be unfortunate), and you do, I will be happy to do the swap

Banksy • Trolley Hunters, by slowmo on Feb 1, 2007 17:32:26 GMT 1, I think the lottery was a thinking out loud thing. I reckon they'll be released in exactly the same way (now watch that get blown to bits next Tuesday when they announce the lottery scheme).
