I am the original purchaser of this print and it was professionally framed, under UV glass since then (2007).
The surface of the print in is exceptional condition, the back of the print has some marks, these were present when I received the print but they do not show through to the other side of the image. Marks are visible on the photos below.
The print was taped along the top edge when framed and on removing this tape has left a slight mark to this edge on the back of the print, nothing detrimental to the print itself just visible on the rear, again view pictures to see for yourself.
Anyone who has seen this print in the flesh will know how vibrant the colours are.
Size: 76cm x 56cm
COA in hand. Based in Bristol UK

This was archival tape however.
Print will be restored by Bignell soon to bring it back to it's former glory.
Bignell will provide a condition report, so then we can use the correct term.

Full provenance from new, email chain from the 1 previous owner and pest control and COA in my name for many years.
Still have the original POW tube and paper it came in as supplied to the original owner, which will go with it.

Mint as new condition prior to framing (Nothing has changed but I know it's frowned on to say mint and framed). Hanging on my wall, in shaded room currently.

I'm selling due to the need for a new car as baby is now getting bigger and space required.

Cheers I had used MFM loads too. The ones that I'd had with the black mount have been removed now and were cleaned by a specialist of residual 'black dust' with no lasting consequences (bar the cost) but if they'd been left it could have been a different story. It also depends on the print/paper used. Simply better to get it popped to ease the sale process anyway. |
