a beautiful print but you will have to adjust your pricing to reflect this condition issue - still a good pickup for someone (maybe someone looking for their first Banksy?) but this also should serve as a reminder of just how hard it is to find early Banksy prints in truly mint condition

I didn't consider it to such an issue as the rest of the print is perfect. But reading some of these comments I'm glad I've not taken anything further just yet. Is this damage not "preferred" over a print covered in finger prints, back ruined from framing and creases? (which seem to be running themes with most Banksy's at auction lately)

The Banksy hype was big even then so I’d say the buyers new/hoped they were buying something that was going to worth more in the future so wouldn’t have used blu tac or drawing pins to hang them. s**t frames and glass yes. Blu tac and Drawing Pins I think not, this was special treatment for rude coppers golf sales and Weston supermares.
If you’ve got just short of 10k to drop on a print it would need to be in good condition or the price should be adjusted suitably.
I’d just keep it and get it framed properly so you can’t see the fade.

Not an investment print to purchase at current asking price but at the right price to someone who doesn't care about resale or covering with a mount this would be ideal. Then again the OP has done well out of his purchase.
