While disliking Bearbricks generally, I am rather fond of the Hicks' Hexagon design. The fact the Bearbrick name already derives from the Kubrick toy (itself named after Stanley Kubrick) also gives this piece an interesting double reference to the film director.
Currently rewatching The Shining.
Hats off to Shelley Duvall. What a brilliant performance by her in the film. And Carrey is also very good.

I love their semi-surreal nature and the combination of materials. They are very sturdy and heavy and It feels like they should be picked up and used as tools as well as just appreciated as well crafted and beautiful sculptural objects.
