I didn't say he was going to stop making figures. The Astro Boy figure was produced by OriginalFake, and most likely it's Medicom that has the license for Astro Boy.
Why would KAWS release a regular and grey version of Astro Boy through OriginalFake and then make a black non OriginalFake version after OF closes down?

It's also nice to have a non dissected, as much as I like the dissected I have always had a preference for the non. Hopefully this is my chance to add one to my collection at a reasonable price, also hoping that the box is a separate part so it can be displayed on a ledge.

If they did they would they would need to change the hair and shorts color for some contrast. IMO its mainly the hair that gives him that distinctive astro boy look with out them it will just look like a companion with new shoes and hairdoo.

Saturday 13th of april 2013. At 9am was released the kaws passing through companion. There was alomst 2000 people, as the staff told me. Mostly chinese flippers (who buy then sell on Ebay and Yahoo auction). I had to queue 2 hours, then got a ticket (as there was very few toys sold that day - staff didn t want to tell the number - and 2000 people waiting to get the ticket, they did the lottery system).
