This mixed in with a massive worldwide following results in minimal/stable traffic to all of a sudden ridiculous volumes of visitors. Just crashes the server everytime and doesn't really allow for testing outside these events.

As stated before last time they emailed me that I will be getting the product and in the end never did receive anything and they never processed my payment that they reserved on my credit card... so HUGE waste of time and effort

Surely if it’s an open edition, they will make them in batches to meet demand, and the number sold will depend upon either when the demand runs out or when Brian decides not to sell them anymore?
Generally, I don’t quite get the few posts dismissing open editions. I think it’s great that his art is made relatively affordable for collectors who can’t afford £1000’s. And I’m sure he will continue to produce exclusive pieces for his fans that can.

Most of the time eBay isn't a good way to judge these. IG accounts sell tons, etc. Simply due to fees. In all honesty, I've been offered every oe release under retail multiple times. No one wants to sell under retail, plus lose 10 percent. The actual selling price of these is slightly below retail or retail with the exception of fake auctions or random idiots.. eBay isn't needed

Been collecting KAWS for well over a decade now and I don't recall a single release being numbered out of 30,000. Plushes, vinyl, bronze, wood etc - they're all different animals, best to compare the same mediums, too. And regarding edition sizes... KAWS rarely specifies edition sizes, limited or not. The edition size of almost ALL KAWS releases is pure speculation.
