And the artist is a serious name, with a serious reputation and historical significance. The contemporary market is rapidly becoming a farce.
Kollwitz is, in my opinion, one of the giants of art history. Up there with your Rembrandts, Goyas and Titiens... and look where the direction of presumed 'value' is heading. God help us.

Instead, it cryptically refers to "COLT XL". Some intern might soon get fired for that error. Given there's also no reference to edition size, the sculpture is presumably an open edition. But for the bargain price of ยฃ28.76, is there any point in thinking twice? Carpe diem.
