Bathroom art, by christiangul on Oct 9, 2018 21:41:49 GMT 1, I have two Nick Smith’s in my bathrooms. One ass in the master bathroom and some tits in the other. Definitely not regretting putting them in even the bathroom even though they are a bit more expensive than other proposals in this thread.
Thing I’ve put up some pics in the nick smith thread.

this made me laugh. wasn't a huge fan of this print, but my goodness does it just work there haha.

Bathroom art, by Dive Jedi on Oct 14, 2018 19:07:47 GMT 1, Looking for nice but cheap bathroom art. Lithos that sort of thing. Sort of things you can bang in an off the shelf frame and not worry about. Thought the Gee Vaucher Great Scott smaller edition would be good but no luck on that. Any ideas folks? During my search for interesting art I became across this guy from Paris who uses bathroom tiles to make art. You might not have heard of him, but he has invaded several cities with his work….
You could make your own creation of bathroom tiles.

I found this French website with all these screensprints of Pac Man figures for Euro 150...
I was like; what's this guy thinking ? ? Pac Man, really ? ? What are we ? Kids ??

Bathroom art, by medichead on Sept 10, 2020 18:35:42 GMT 1, Just to revive an old thread, as opposed to starting a new one, I have a question.
I know it's bad to put art in a bathroom, but how bad is it exactly?
Thinking of popping a framed poster in there (frame job wasn't exactly cheap, poster was but is worth a little more), and curious to hear if people have really regretted doing so?
Does it make a difference if bathroom is rather large, good extractor fan, and no one having 30 mins hot steamy showers? i.e., can it be mitigated?
Any thoughts, experiences, and advice welcomed

No issues at all here Medichead, have a couple of framed bits in my bathroom which I really enjoy, and no problem at all.
One of then coincidentally, I bought from Winks a while back who started this thread.
Obviously the only issue is the humidity, so what I did was simply run a bit of silicon sealer around the frame where the glass sits, and then if necessary put some kind of backing on the frame if necessary?
Depending on how precious you are about things, you could simply use some decent paint on the back of the frame to 'seal'?
As a Northerner, slightly bemused by your statement 'if your bathroom is rather large', but enjoyed the bits I have for a couple of years, no problem at all.

Bathroom art, by medichead on Sept 10, 2020 22:19:26 GMT 1, Haha thanks for that advice! The large was referring to the fact that if the art is closer to a shower I imagine the situation must be worse. I hardly live in a palace, or we probably wouldn’t be having this conversation 😂
